Some love stories begin with grand plans - ours began with faith, a little destiny, and an unforgettable first date at Drake’s Dealership in Oakland on April 1st, 2023. Oakland isn’t just where we met… it’s where Harjeet found her first job, built her independence, and unexpectedly found the kind of love that changes everything. We both grew up knowing one thing for sure: we didn’t want an arranged marriage - we wanted something real. Something chosen. And somehow, against all odds, we found each other.

 

Even more beautiful, both of our moms’ families live in Yuba City, CA -  like life had been quietly connecting our worlds long before we ever met. And then came Rocco - our first baby, our first little family -  and without question, Rocco loves Harjeet more than anything on this planet (Mandip accepts being second place). With Mandip born on January 6th and Harjeet on January 7th, we’ve always felt like we were meant to be side by side - not just in birthdays, but in life. What we found in each other wasn’t just love… it was home, it was peace, it was answered prayer -  the kind of forever you don’t plan, but always hope for.
